Recently, BBC World news anchor Katty Kay and ABC World News anchor Claire Shipman, both staunch advocates for the advancement of women in the workplace, sat down with Charlie Rose to articulate exactly what confidence is and where it comes from (it’s definitely not found on Amazon or EBay) as they promote “The Confidence Code,” the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut collaboration “Womenomics.”

For over 40 years, Oxford, a western county in England, has been renowned for turning out some of the most indelible musical acts in the world (the likes of Radiohead, Ride, Swervedriver and Talulah Gosh, just to name drop a few). The current generation of independent and avant garde artists to come out of the City of Dreaming Spires is no exception, as evidenced by this flawlessly beautiful performance by Rhoysn (aka cellist/vocalist Rose Dagul). This stripped down version of her hit single “Glass” is nothing short of soul stirring.
